On a night that I shared in a field
Of magic and imagination,
An angel came into my head
And stole my heart and inhabitions.
It was an evening I shared with a boy
Whose utter perfection astounds me.
That I knew in an instant I loved him,
And would do anything to have him around me.
Across space and time our eyes met,
And we partook of an imagined kiss,
And i held his spirit in mine,
And for a moment we where one existance.
Now I'm waiting to hold him for real.
To feel the texture of his skin,
For his lips and his eyes to meet mine.
To hold him close and breath him in.
My love for him knows no boundaries.
No land or sea can keep us apart.
Because on that night that I shared with my angel,
I gave him the gift of my heart.
