Never having someone care is all that I have known
A life of failure, an empty heart, a smile never shown.
I hid the tears, the scars the pills so no one had to fret
An occasional smile or an awkward glance was all that I would get.
But now my heart is filled with love, living finally seems worthwhile
Every time I think of you, I can not help but smile.
I know its love, it’s you I want, don’t ever let me go
I will not lie, I can not lie, my love for you will grow.
**i wrote this for my first love. he ended up dumping me a couple days ago for my best friend. that hurt so much. i cant stand reading this poem but everyone told me i should put it on here. thanks for reading it and commenting would be greatly appreciated**
