Sometimes when I'm alone
I think of a dream come true.
Could you ever imagine,
That the dream is you?
Happiness took me so far
And then it faded away.
Until I met you at school,
On that wonderful day.
We started of with laughing
About what were on your feet.
This is kinda a funny way,
That two people would ever meet.
Then I started to notice
A light that glowed inside.
Would I have to tell you?
Could I forever let it hide?
But I decided to let it slip
I told you ow I felt.
Little did I know,
My heart would have to melt.
You didn't share the common thing
That I did for you.
I wondered what would happen,
What could I ever do?
We became better friends
But the feelings were still there.
Lingering in my heart,
It was something I couldn't bare.
Then someday, long ago
We had a little fight.
I could no longer see myself.
I couldn't see the light.
I wanted to kill me quick
I tried so very hard.
My heart was open to pain,
I could no longer stand guard.
And then you said you loved me
As a sister and not more.
This made me see a light.
I have never seen before.
Now we are happy
Happy as two people could be.
Loved by one another,
Just you and just me.
