It was so hard to say goodbye
I felt as if I was going to die
Opening my arms and letting go
Is one of the hardest things that I’ll ever know
This summer we were together the way we should be
Alone, just you and me
As I got onto my bus and the tears rolled down my cheek
I felt my entire body go weak
I want you to once again hold me tight
Letting me know everything in life is right
That we have each other to love and hold
And that me and you will together grow old
That Tuesday when we just layed in your bed
There was one main thought that went through my head
How you will always have a place in my heart
And how our hearts will never be apart
When I closed me eyes and you kissed me and in return I kissed you
I felt something new
Something I have never before felt
My body went numb and my heart did melt
This summer being with you was the time of my life
I hope that in the future you will make me your wife
As I cry for you tear after tear
I realise in life I have nothing to fear
And I have nothing to hide
As long as I have you by my side
