The moon is rising beyond the hills, passed the trees, and beside the stars. A wondrous glow can be seen from on high. The cool autumn wind blows through my hair, like pixies are dancing in the moonlight. The leaves twirl around me, reds, yellows, and brown spinning me all around. The trees are holding me between their painful pricks. The tears keep falling from my eyes, IâÂÂm sorry my friends, I cant hide them any longer. The trees pull me close, sheltering me from the wind. They hug me so, and the leaves blanket around me whispering âÂÂeverything will be ok.â My world is spinning, IâÂÂm losing control. I push away, running helplessly in the dark. The trees are calling âÂÂcome back, come backâ¦â soon they are just a faint whisper. I run and I run with the wind right at my heels, my tears are still falling and IâÂÂm lost and alone. My world is shattered; I drop to my knees and pray. âÂÂOh lord please take me awayâ¦â then the wind lifts me up, IâÂÂm weightless you see. Up I go, and soon someone holds me close and I donâÂÂt feel so alone anymore. He pulls me close his skin is so warm, IâÂÂm trying to see his face but thereâÂÂs no way I can. When he lets me down I look straight into his eyes, and see a beautiful sight. I bow down before him, the King of us all. He tells me âÂÂmy child please donâÂÂt let your tears fall any longer.â He lifts my chin from off the ground. He smiles and kisses me on the forehead and says, âÂÂHe loves you my child, more than I myself could ever lover you. Now go to him.â I begin to cry again and I slowly whisper, âÂÂBut I canâÂÂt.â outraged he screamed at me âÂÂWho made mans mountain? Who made the mute, the seeing, and the blind? Did not I? NOW GO!â I begin to tremble for fear of upsetting him, he pulls me close and whispers, âÂÂIâÂÂm sorry my child, it pains me to see you hurting so. Now you must go!â I awaken by a stream where the wild flowers grow and the cool breeze blowing threw my hair. I stand, trying to catch me balance, I look to the north and I begin to run. I run and I run like the wild deer, running straight for you. My feet stop right at your doorway, and I slowly raise my little hand to tap on the door. You open the door and grab me, holding me so close. The sweet embrace and the passionate kiss is so welcoming, I never wanted it to end. This must be a dream, how can it end like this. Me and you and just one little kiss. I pull away tears running down my face, how could I have come back to this place. You pull me back to you, holding me so close. I hit at your shoulders screaming, âÂÂWhy didnâÂÂt you come for me?â I cry and I cry tears running so deep. All you can do is hold me and take my blows. I drop to my knees and hold my head, IâÂÂm so confused. I look up at you and say, âÂÂIf you really love meâ¦then find meâ¦.â And I take off running. You run to your horse and chase after me; my heart is pounding with each step I take. Your gaining, then I fall into a river, hurt, and alone. You find me at last, and you grab me up and hold me close and whisper âÂÂI will never let you goâ¦â I can hear you sob as your tears start to fall. Your hands are covered in my blood thatâÂÂs running threw my golden hair. I mutter three last words before I leave you once again⦠âÂÂI love youâ¦â and with one last breath, one last touch, I let go like you did before, and if you really care you will come and find meâ¦because for you I will always wait!
