I'm sitting here thinking,
I'm sitting here wishing.
The whole time,
it's you that I'm missing.
I remember that day,
you asked me to be your girlfriend.
I remember thinking, "This is the beginning, there won't be an end"
4 months passed by,
a few fights,
but mostly everything right.
We were still side by side.
Then you said we were done,
No reason why,
just that last good-bye.
The tears I to fight.
I pretended I was alright.
I kept a smile on my face,
refusing to accept you'd gone away.
How I hate that day......
We remained as friends,
my heart still needs to mend.
But I guess you can say,
that I'm doing OK.
I still love you,
but what can I do?
I close my eyes...in my mind,
your still at my side.
I remember thinking,
that I'd give it all,
just to always have you there
to catch me when I fall.
I meant every word.
Our love I will never forget,
even though you were a mistake,
it's one I'll never regret.
I just want you to know,
even though it may not show,
I will always love you,
forever and each day a little more.
