You and me,
I feel like we're meant to be.
You're amazing, perfect, more than I'll ever need.
Does it sound stupid when I say, that I believe we were sent to one another,
To be with each other,
To love one another.
As we both realized,
Love isn't all happy smiles.
There have been fights and tears along the way,
And its been a very bumpy ride
But never once have you left my side,
Never once have you let go of my hand,
And no matter how bad the situation has been,
We've always pulled through no matter what,
We've always been able to see the brighter light and made it to the other side.
Each time we've fallen,
We've simply brushed ourselves off and climbed back up again,
I know sometimes its been easier said than done,
But never once have we given up the fight.
Every time we fall
Our feelings for one another grow that little bit stronger, we fight for one another that little bit harder,
All around us,
Couples have fallen, and had their hearts broken,
But you and me we've always been stronger and we've never seen the need to split.
If I'm 100% honest I hope we never have to,
If you were to leave, without saying a word,
My heart wouldn't let me get over you, or let me forget you.
I'm scared a day will come,
When you won't want to carry on,
Then I'll be left here alone,
Trying to fix my broken soul.
I've given you everything I know,
From my body, to my heart, even my soul.
But no matter how I try,
I still feel you really don't know these feelings I feel inside.
We've been together so long,
Yet the time seems to have flown by so fast,
And I hope you never let "us" go,
That we will always manage to see the light.
