The sun was shinning, the day was warm,
Driving in the country, seeing for the first time,
With a woman, her country, I want to see more,
The land, trees, the towns, her charm, new to me,
This is her land, born and raised, inside her it will stay,
Smelling the air, seeing beauty that is so pristine,
Being there makes ones mind become free and clear,
Things you cannot see everyday are in plain sight,
Yes, simple things as nature wants it to be, quiet,
I now see what my hippie brethren used to say-
Back to the land, your soul and mind will be free,
The country with your lover and mother nature each day,
This woman and her country I am coming to adore,
'Tis not hard for me to see what her eyes see, beauty,
So take me to your country my darling, I must go soon,
To make love to you under the sky, the stars, and the moon.
