[Fate II]
I stood by the door, bag in hand
What i knew you did, i just couldn't stand
You wept and yelled like you did nothing wrong
But the force ripping up my heart was just too strong
I got into my car and drove away
Hoping for a better day
Flashbacks of us came tumbling in
But my patience for you had been wearing thin
I saw you at the park having the time of your life
As every touch stabbed me like a knife
You acted like i had never existed,
His every touch, you never resisted
I told myself he was just a friend
Then the next day i had to pretend
I acted like you were always true,
Even as you said the words "only you"
Days went by, i saw nothing wrong
Our regular lives just went along.
But then i spotted you coming out of a hotel
Giving him a kiss, as a farewell
My world had crumbled to the ground,
And gave a loud crashing sound
The promises we made meant nothing to you
How could i have been so stupid, even as i knew
I tried to forget what you had done
But the truth had soon gone and won
i knew what had to be done, though it hurt
But you had treated me like i was dirt
Now its your turn to feel that way
As i leave you with nothing to say
I watched in my mirrors as you wept
Hopefully regretting what you had kept
As i drive away, not turning back
I hear a soft, silent, gentle crack
Though as i left we hadn't spoken,
It was my heart now that had broken
I still loved you though you treated me that way
I loved you so much that i still wanted to stay
But what you did was something i couldn't bear
What you did was truly unfair.
