Still now when I think of you my heart skips a beat,
It remembers the days when it was just you and me,
It remembers your laugh and your funny smile,
And how it felt all the while,
It remembers the day you gave it your love,
And all the times it was you it was thinking of,
It remembers the problems, discussions, and fights,
And the messages you sent it late in the night,
It remembers the movies, the late nights, the fun,
And how it was feeling when all was done,
It remembers the touching the hugs and the kisses,
And how full our lives were of dreams and wishes,
It remembers the day we were dancing together,
And how safe it felt staying in your arms forever,
It remembers the time when you started to change.
And soon after that when our relationship went strange,
It remembers the day when you started not to care,
And how you ignored me and pretended I wasn't there,
I remember the day when you said goodbye,
And for months and months all I could do was cry,
Thinking of you was hurting my brain,
I wished o how I wished it would all just be the same,
Everyday you were gone I was dying inside,
But you didn't even notice, no one did so I lied,
I told everyone I was doing just fine,
Until that day in May where I think I lost my mind,
I needed you forever so I carved you into my skin,
A permanent endeavor I now had to live with,
Its not like it helped me though,It hurt me more inside,
And still now today I feel like I might cry,
Even though I'm stronger now,
I don't know why you put me through hell?
You had never a reason to say good bye,
I don't even know if it was the truth or a lie,
So now I just sit here wearing your heart,
Thinking of now where I can start.
