I remember how are love used to be
The way it felt to know that you loved me
Coming home upset and feeling out of place
You seemed somehow to put a smile back on my face
It was all so surreal and perfect to me
The heartaches were gone I was finally free
Your love cleared the sky that was dark and grey
By the words you told me everyday
I can still remember everything you always said
How beautiful I was, how I was your princess
Together forever is how it was supposed to be
Everlasting love just you and me
But as everything does, things began to change
The love was still there but the feelings rearranged
The feeling came back, of being lost and jaded
I watched as our relationship and love slowly faded
I cant understand how it all came to be
What exactly happened to you and me?
I saw how the distance between us started to count
And now the love we had we started to doubt
I feel so alone without you by my side
The emptiness goes along with the countless tears that Ive cried
It seems as if your love can never be replaced
When I hear love songs, I see your face
You used to be my one and only
Now your gone and Im left lonely
I cant put into words this overwhelming pain
Its taking over me, Im going insane
I have to get used to you not being there
And it seems as if you dont even care
Our relationship is over and I dont know how
But it doesnt really matter because its over now
