I still wake up at night and wish it was your arms holding me tight. Wish it was you whispering I love you and sweet dreams. When I get that feeling I can't help but look away...I can't let you see the tears begin to fall..I can't let you know, my love is all a lie...
I thought I could fall in love, but all you are to me is someone to hold me when I cry, someone to make me feel less lonely...someone to love me when I need it the most...I'm using you and I can't do this anymore...so I look away as I say I am sorry, but this isn't right...I'm leaving you tonight...
I pack my things and you beg me to stay, ask me why I can't love you? I can't seem to let go, I'm not over the real love of my life and I am sorry I used you like this. Hate me, disgrace me, throw me on the street! Beat me, leave me battered and bruised, just please stop saying I LOVE YOU!
You whisper it again, and say I don't care if your love is true, I can't be without you...I look into your eyes and see the tears you're trying not to cry, I look away as I grab my things and walk out of your life...I whisper I am sorry, find someone true...I'm just not good enough for you...
I barely hear him scream out my name before the gun shot is fired...I look away as I realize I am the one that just killed him...I might as well have put that gun to his head...I'm not worth this pain and my life is just too messed up to live, so I turn around and retrieve the gun he has just used...and end this pain...I look away as pull the trigger....
