I just sit and wait for your call
When I shouldn't even care anymore at all
You broke my heart not once but twice
You played with my heart as if it were a pair of dice
You have my heart
And now it's slowly killing me that we're apart
Right now you have no clue
What you're sitting here putting me through
Love is unkind
And slowly slips away over time
I remember all the happy moments that we shared
But that was when you still cared
Love is supposed to be from the heart
But why when it's gone it just tears you apart
I can't believe your gone
Just tell me were I went wrong
I sit and smile and act like I just don't care
When I'm really thinking life is just not fair
Living without you is just too tough
I've finally had enough
I take the knife slowly across my skin
I never thought I'd actually give in
But here I am about to die
And all I can do is lye here and cry
The room is beginning to spin
As I lay here and think I just couldn't win
You come running through the door
And slide to the floor
You turn to me and start to cry
And ask why I have to die
I am too weak
To even speak
With my last breath I utter the words I'll love you forever
And you sit there and realize we'll never again be together
And in that moment you decide to take your life
With my very own knife
Next time you sit there and ask why
Just remember you don't have to die
Even if you just want to die
Love will always be the slowest form of suicide
