Where are you?
Where have you gone?
I miss having you here.
With you is where I belong.
I cherish the memories,
And the unforgettable times.
The moments when I was yours,
And the ones when you were mine.
It seems so long ago,
When we filled each other's hearts.
But things have changed since then,
Because now we are apart.
I don't know what happened,
I have not a clue what went wrong.
But one minute you were here,
And the next you were gone.
We were so right for each other,
Our relationship was great.
We could tell each other anything,
Even if the other couldn't relate.
We could talk about absolutely nothing,
For hours and hours on end.
You were more than just a lover,
You were my absolute best friend.
You could always cheer me up,
And make me laugh when I was down.
I felt so safe in your arms,
And so comfortable when you were around.
Even after we had been together for so long,
The butterflies never ceased.
You always made me feel so special.
Because in me, you always believed.
My soul was shattered,
When things went down the drain.
I went through so much misery,
My heart felt so much pain.
You were the first person,
To fill my heart with love.
Before there was a me and you,
I didn't even know what it was.
You gave me my first kiss,
And made it all so perfect.
It had been just like I had imagined,
And I knew it had been worth it.
You had always helped me through,
And stayed right by my side.
You were there for not only the good,
But all of my worst times.
I had never fathomed life with out you,
Until that tragic day.
I wished a thousand times,
That things didn't end that way.
If only the driver hadn't been drinking,
And went against the law.
If only you hadn't gone to that party,
Or gotten in the car at all.
But saying 'if only' wont change a thing,
It'll will never bring you back.
I'll never see your smile again,
And I'll never hear your laugh.
But your love is still in my heart,
And there it will forever be.
I pray for you each night,
That you will eternally rest in peace.
