A tear rolls down my cheek for every memory I have of you,
I cant believe that this is over that we are really through.
A scar begins to take form in the shape of my heart.
I never realized how far we had grown apart.
It hurts to hear your laugher and see your face in my head,
But what hurts the most is to remember the loving things you always said.
I never thought that it would ever come down to telling you goodbye.
I didnt know that one day I would be writing this and telling myself not to cry.
I thought this morning I would wake up by your side,
But only to realize I went to bed alone last night.
I love you with all my heart and I know youll be hard to forget,
But this is one relationship I will never regret.
Because you loved me when others felt too ashamed,
You told me that you didnâ??t want me to ever change.
You lifted me up when others put me down,
You made me smile you made me laugh and when I was sad I only needed you to come around.
Well angel, I am sad now but I know you want be back,
I know that this is why god wants us to grow strong and pick up our own slack.
I canâ??t help myself I miss you more than you could know,
But I guess these tear drops will help me learn to grow.
