Probably never will,
You gave up on us,
Just a little too soon,
I never had the chance,
To show you who I am,
To tell you all the things,
I wish we couldve had,
If only youd have waited,
To know me a little better,
You would have been surprised,
At all I have to offer,
Its too late now,
Im moving on,
But here is a vision,
Of whats now gone,
I would be there for you,
Night or day,
Whatever you wanted,
I would give it away,
Youd be the only man,
I could ever love,
Id think of no others,
No one would come above,
Id give you your freedom,
No chains would I lock,
Because Id trust in you,
On my list youre the top,
Never would you worry,
That I was untrue,
For every night,
That man Im with is you,
Even when youre not around,
Youre always on my mind,
Id see something and think of you,
And smile a little inside,
Never would I leave you lonely,
Even when Im not there,
Just think of me and you will know,
Im thinking of you as well,
Id take care of you if you were sick,
Id stay right by your side,
Id be awake to watch you sleep,
And know its love I feel inside,
But never will you know this,
For you chose to leave,
I felt like a complete failure,
But now I begin to see,
Theres so much more out there,
Im too good to give and not receive,
Eventually I wont miss you,
And someday I wont cry,
Memories of you and I,
Will gradually fade with time.
