Why are you tearing up my heart?
I'm trying everything to not get ripped apart
I am holding on to your heart for dear life
But you have no interest to strife
I don't want to say goodbye
You look at me with no emotions
I feel a tear coming down
How the pain in love stings
I feel beaten to a pulp
I pull my heart broken body together
I cannot smile,this wasn't supposed to happen ever
So I feel the tears trickling down in little streams
Waterfalls from my eyes to the ground
It's so blurry as I push past
I don't want to know you no longer love me
Buried in harsh memories
I do not want to see
The tear-soaked grass
That used to beckon us
To share our love
And I whisper to myself
Is this what love is?
Hurtful?
Destructive?
Life threatening?
It's not like they wrapped love in a package and gave it a warning sign
It should have warned people before using
I went to bed last night
And you called
To say you didn't cry
Because you wanted to be strong
I want to have another tear
Run down my cheek
But no,I have run out
Of things to cry with
And I wonder to myself
Truly,is this what love is?
