I always seem to fall for the wrong people,
And then im falling for a lost cause.
But maybe its not that im falling for the wrong people,
Maybe its that my idea of the right person is wrong.
I dont think anyone has a certain type,
I know people are attracted to certain kinds of people,
But when you really fall in love it wont be for the type,
It will be for who the person is.
It wont matter if they live up to your dream person,
It wont matter what kind of person they are at all.
Its how they make you feel,
And you will know it, it will feel different.
You know as soon as you get to know the person,
All your ideas of what your looking for go out the window,
Because when you meet some1 that you truly care about,
They will be nuthing like what you dreamed of.
If you get an idea of what your looking for in your head,
And you always try to live up to that expectation,
Then you will never fall in love.
Because the people you fall hardest for dont fit any of it.
Dont listen to what others say,
Dont worry about what they will think,
Because the only thing that matters is following your heart.
It never lies, despite your doubts and worries,
Just go with it, go with what feels right.
Because in the end it wont matter if you found your dream person,
It will matter if the person you found made your dreams come true.
