As winter comes to an end
The cliffs long for people
The sea is calling
The sun appearing.
As it gradually warms,
Tents appear,
There stripes dominant against the sand
The sea glistening in the morning sun.
And laughter begins to appear.
The water is cold,
As children scream and run away from the waves
The surfers hanging out already
Sitting in the cold water checking for waves,
The parents all come down to bask in the sun
Watching the children hop as the burn their feet
Sun block smeared,
But smiling and giggling the whole way.
Hot chips are everywhere.
â??Star of Greeceâ?? packed full of children
Wanting to be able to chew
On ice cream and chips to fill their tummies.
Before they go back into the depths of the water/
They have to wait.
They build sandcastles
They make friends
They splash in the shallows.
The caves seems dank and scary,
Even in the daytime.
They smell like the sea,
But hold such adventure.
You can sit inside and watch everything happen
Watch the sunset,
Be alone.
Be lost in thought and nobody would ever find you.
The sunsets are stunning
Where ever you are.
Port will would not be the same without them.
But we wowould?t be the same without Port Will.
