She turns her back,
cause she cant let him see her cry.
after all, she knew what she was
getting herself into, liking this guy.
she knew love was a game with him,
but, she figured he was worth a try.
he told her, "I'm sorry...are you alright?"
she quickly wiped the tears from her eyes.
she turned and said "yea I'm fine...
...well..i mean i should be with time..."
he apologized again and turned to walk away,
when he felt her grab him from behind.
she quickly changed her mind and decided to say
all of the things she wanted to get out.
for this boy, this was a very, very special day...
today was the day he'd change his ways
he turned around and explained to her
that no longer did he want to play.
he wanted to be her boyfriend,
and hopefully stay that way.
she looked deeply into his eyes,
and all she found was emptiness.
she took a deep breath, and let out a sigh,
she smiled and said "I'm sorry..." and
turned and walked away.
well now the boy does not play
with girls precious little hearts...
he apologized to the girls he had hurt
and for covering them with emotional scars.
