When I first met you
I didnt get that head-over heals feeling
I thought you were not my type,
But I might give you a chance, because things started revealing
I would consistently tell myself I didnt like you
Sometimes even making speeches up
But when I saw you, I would forget everything I knew
And become a total mess up.
But I loved your funny sense of humor
And you never seemed to mind
Even when I would mess up big time
You seemed to tell me everything was fine.
Sometimes I would wait up just for your call
With the phone right next to my head
Ready to hear your voice
And listen to every word you said
Those pointless conversations,
Always seemed to keep me up all night
Of talking about everything yet nothing
Afterwards, I would think you could be Mr. Right
