Let's go, come out of these souls,
And say on length what we have to say about our world.
We'll watch the sun go down and see the moon rise,
We'll lie about the truth, and we'll tell true lies.
We won't mean what we say,
And we won't say what we mean.
We'll look at each other so plainly,
That the lust of passion would be buried deep within.
Let's talk this and that, him and her,
But always run from the fact we know we have.
Walking down the rain washed road to eternity, I look back,
For you are still there feeling bad- for not having kissed me or bared naked your soul.
I feel if it wasn't meant to be, for what then it was meant for?
But we still choose to meet,
Showing there's absolutely nothing in between.
We talk, we discuss,
With no noise and equally no fuss.
We come; we go, like there's nothing left to show,
Feels like it doesn't even sense what it used to be, anymore!
What's holding us back? Is it some kind of sin?
If he feels like loving me and I love him?
What if we make love through days and through nights,
All into each other, with no tomorrow in sight!
But no matter how far this imagination goes,
We still are stuck in our own virtues.
The feelings of friendship and respect,
Like nothing is meant to be born after that.
It's a routine, he will come tomorrow,
All dressed up in his best clothes.
And we both will go about our daily dilemmas,
Just as the way destiny chose!
