It truly is amazing that
You wrote those words for me,
Then put them on this poem site
For all the world to see.
You made me feel so special
When you wrote it months ago,
And now you show the world your love,
By sharing it, although
It's hard because I want to hold
Your hand, out in the street.
I want to tell our love out loud
To all those that we meet.
For now, this shows you really do
Have feelings like you say.
You took a gamble leaving it
Where comments could be made.
I hope that you can see that you
Have other talents too,
For you say that you cannot see
What I can see in you,
But you have to agree you have
Not only gorgeous eyes,
But beauty deep within your heart.
It comes as no surprise
That with the brain, and mind you have
That you could turn your hand
To declarations of your love.
When will you understand
That you are much more than you think,
And that is what I see.
Plus, our souls are quite entwined.
