My eyes are blue
his are brown with gold flecks
but what does it matter
as if he knows i spend every second
staring at his, knowing he doesnt know the colour of mine
or rather thats what i thought
no girl can ever put into words how much
she l.o.v.e.s that one guy
but this one tried to sum it up in
"i love you, but you don't love me"
the usual"of course i love you" comes out in a hurry, seeming almost memorized
then the question thats been on her mind comes out
"what color are my eyes?"
then comes the answer
"baby, come on"
girl gets frustrated and walks away.
"wait." guy says
girl stops, unpaitiently spurts out "what?" in between broken sobs
guy goes over and embraces girl
looks at her face and replies
"cyan in the moonlight,
aqua in the day,
sparkling ocean when your happy,
sunny sky when i ask you to stay
blue grey when your sad
ice when your mad
and blue right now."
