Originally an English assignment-when read aloud it had astonishing effects on the females within hearing range!!!!
Womanly creatures with their heavenly features
sent from above with their angelic love.
The greatest gift that God could give;
a spiritual lift or a reason to live,
or however you feel, please don't hate me,
but honestly, they simply fascinate me.
The way they move, the air they breathe,
their way of thinking and their ability to please.
The finesse of a woman is like the light of a sun;
not just a brilliant star but the most radiant one.
Even in a crisis they are the life-line,
or the comfort that comes when you're in a tight bind.
It's the opposite sex that spurs my imagination,
just a simple glance is intoxicating.
They're the bridge built over troubled waters,
sometimes I wonder why I even bother.
The unspeakable dream shattered by reality,
the untouchable angel grounded by gravity.
Women are by far the most prized possession,
a man with a woman has at least some sort of direction.
Whether intangible and mysterious or stand-up and outspoken,
women are the only beings with the power to heal all that is broken.
They are the finders of things and the bringers of joy,
the burning desires of both man and boy.
With unknown potential growing within their souls,
when it comes to emotions their arsenals are whole.
They are my strength, my weakness, my everything,
for the love of another, who wouldn't do anything?
They are the road by which men travel daily,
learning from mistakes that drove others crazy.
Sometimes it takes a woman to believe,
and it always takes a woman to conceive.
So why is it that men never learn,
to treat women like more than a worm?
It's us, the men, that need their guidance,
and all they ask for is trustworthy reliance.
So on behalf of the men across the millions of years,
I sincerely apologize to women,
since losing you has always been one of our greatest fears.
