She looks at him, and steals a smile
her feelings for him is all worth while
nothing else can fall into place
except for this feeling of being misplaced
they both are friends and thats all they can be

she got over the fact that all they were was just friends
and soon found a nice guy in the end
as she looks at him, theres no same smile
he's differen't now you can tell from a mile
nothing did ever fall in place
you can tell things are different by the smirk on her face
their friendship showed no feelings to see
they were where they started, where friends should be
he kept in mind what he thought before
but never shared it with anyone close
now what they said before is what came to be
